Can you see the small chick below and to the left of the mother?  This is just about as newborn as they get!!

These were taken just outside of Zion National Park on Oct 12th

We spent last Saturday at Hardware Ranch for Elk Days, there were about 70 head of Elk up high on the hill... just a little too far to see without help. Here we are on the horse drawn wagon.
