Our chicks are growing up! Layla is doing great, now 3 months old and weighs about 8 lbs. Below, the Sandhill Crane chick is nearly the same size as her mother.

The baby crane seems to grow bigger every day, here are two photos taken about 1 week apart... My own little one, Layla, just had her 2 month dr. appointment. She is now up to 7.1 lbs and heathy!
