The Fox Fam

For the last week I've seen one fox at a time, but today two were out chasing each other around without a care in the world. I took too long getting my camera, this was taken as they were finished up. They had been chasing each other in circles through the short cut grass.

The two below are the same photo, I watched this guy for about 20 minutes. I suspect he was chasing mice because he'd hold perfectly still then pounce, then turn around and pounce again. I thought it was a lot of fun to watch, the kids thought the Wii was more fun!!

Moto X @ Powder Mountain

Spent the last 2 days (Sat & Sunday) at Powder Mountain's Moto X running a booth for work, D came with me, we had a blast! Rider #2 below is Jeremy McGrath, 7x supercross champ...

We have a new squirrel living in the rock wall below our deck, my kids think it's fun to feed him. I'm waiting for him to get comfortable them I'll use a have-a-heart to "relocate" him....

Another sunset.... I know, I know.... I'm told that I just keep taking photos of the same things but this really was a nice sunset so skim over it if you don't like it!

The other day I decided to go on a short hike up by Snowbasin, ended up taking little miss #2. We found this great hike that took us up to a small pond below the ski resort, although we missed the turn off to the pond and ended up going about 1 mile too far it was a lot of fun. The pond ended up being only about 3/4 miles from the road!

My Hiking Buddy.... she decided to wear her pajamas, guess it didn't matter much since she didn't walk but sat on my shoulders for most of the time! This photo turned out really bad but I wanted to share it, just to prove that I was actually there!

Let me know what you think of this shot... HDR, combination of 3 images taken at different exposures. I used a trial version of Photomatix to process so I ended up with a watermark, thinking about buying the program to do more of this kind of processing...

Enterprise, UT during a summer storm. This is also an HDR like the photo above but I used CS3 to process... which do you like better?

While in New Mexico I was able to swing by the ranch of some old friends, here is one of his bulls throwing dirt to keep the flies away. The next few shots are from their property, 24,000 acres near Lordsberg, NM. Big country, not much grass but beautiful.
